Hey Friends,
I’m JoJo, a Brit-turned-Aussie who lives between the two countries and is currently based in the UK. I have loved words since I was very small, and through the years, you will always have found me scribbling notes for my latest novel or with my nose firmly planted in a good book. Fantasy is my absolute favourite, and YA Fantasy is my guilty pleasure.
If you are scrolling through the archives, you will see that my writing journey truly began in 2014, when I lost my stepdad unexpectedly. Writing through the grief helped me process that loss and put me on a path to a career change, moving from my role in professional services as a Business Analyst to focusing on content, my true passion.
Since then, I have been honoured to be featured in Elephant Journal, Huffington Post and The Good Men Project, as well as Inside Retail Magazine (print) and the Australian Financial Review (print). I’m currently writing my first fantasy novel, part of a duology.
The other loves of my life include family, friends, reading, travel, good food, yoga and the ocean. You will most likely find me laughing (or eating) with my special people all over the world, cup of tea, or red wine, in hand.
